Bio

I grew up doing musical and straight theatre in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont and cut my teeth on shows like Grease, Fiddler on the Roof, Annie, and A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Junior year I played the lead in Molière’s The Forced Marriage, which beat out 52 other schools to be one of two plays representing Vermont at the New England One Act Festival.

I attended Wesleyan University where I double majored in Oil Painting and Mathematics. Senior year my housemates and I wrote and staged a play called New York You Are my Wife - a satirical “Cabaret of errors”.

After graduation, I joined Teach For America and taught middle school maths in Camden NJ, staged a solo exhibition of my paintings in Philadelphia, started a Web Design Company called July Camp with some volunteer friends of mine so that I could work remotely, turned a minivan into a house, moved into it, and slowly toured the US to see as many National Parks as my wife and I could muster.

After five years of living in LA, I have performed regularly as a Second City and UCB improviser, I’ve been a lead in a Indie feature film, booked leads in several commercials, and shot a pilot and a slew of short films. I’m an educational consultant, a foster parent, and I like to rock climb, bike, and hike with my wife, dogs and two foster kids.
